When we noticed the bug, we took the offer down and adjusted the balance of gold on all accounts that completed the purchase. Below is our plan to fix it. 📈 All players who purchased the offer and didn't spend the gold have already received 15,000 bonus gold. It was a big mistake by Pixonic. The proper fix would be to revert hangars back to before that purchase and offer some compensation. A secondary solution is to refund the purchase and return all accounts to pre-purchase levels.

Sounds like a class action lawsuit should happen. You paid real money for virtual credits, and the provider fu©ked up, that's on Pixonic. I just did a little math.. So, 16,800 gold is $75 before tax. So, how much is 50 million gold worth? Just a measley $223,275 before sales tax, that's another 5% where I live. A grand total of $234,438.75USD. Sounds well worth a lawsuit.

It's pretty obvious it was a mistake when I saw it so didn't buy. Pixonic going to have to figure this out. Not fair on us all if some people get a maxed account for very little spending by profiting off this bug. Resetting gold to zero isn't the answer. Upgrades need to be undone and refunds given so fair to everyone.

You can guarantee whatever the fix is, it won’t involve refunding the purchase money. I’m wondering if it’s legal to offer goods for purchase, take the funds and then forcibly take those goods back without refunding the purchase price. The correct fix is to refund the money and reset the accounts to pre purchase status. To offer compensation in the form of goods incorrectly assumes the buyer would have still made the purchase with this offer.

Think about it, although your hanger is maxed now, you’ll never be able to upgrade any new bots past Mk1 level 12. You’ll never be able to upgrade new pilots. Combine microchips. Speed upgrades. The list goes on. There’s so many things you need gold for that you’re basically screwed long-term with such a large gold deficit.
