My heart goes out to you. I was in the same type of relationship for 9 to 10 years, off and on. They chose other people over me and then when it went bad, it was me they came crying back to. I swear, they literally drained me. The last time they hooked up with another, I walked away. That was almost a year and a half ago. Six yrs together, all turmoil. All they did was mess with my mind. It ends when he is hit by a car while riding his bike resulting in a broken femur in three places, fractured hip, major concussion, almost lost his elbows. No memory of what happened. He had left my house just twenty min prior. We agreed to look for a place to live together. I saw then the day after their accident and when they got out of surgery. He completely pushed me out of his life. Refused to talk. When he left hospital after several weeks, he refused my invite to put him up because there is too many stairs at his place. Instead goes to his ex girlfriends. He contacted her after his surgery and said nothing. She walked into his room five min after I got there to bring him clothes, things he'd need while in hospital. I can't wrap my head around such a betrayal. And, have no interest in speaking or seeing him again. He will never change.
