Spice is right to be strict. Notless extension is okay, even clear nail polish is fine, but no crop top, she's still too young. Encouraging her to be natural is best. Fake nails can damage your own nails and wigs can cause natural hair loss, but knotless is okay. You're an excellent mother Spice.

My daughter is 11years old(we live in 🇬🇧) she's grounded by our parenting skills, very sensible, the very best in her class, and achieves overall excellence in her school. She is not influenced by other children, but when she asks for little things like a hairstyle in "trend" we analyse the type of hairstyles and choose the most modest of them and allow her to do it. This is because we also need to prevent the emotional (etc) damages that can fester! This we do for her during the Summer holidays. When it's back to school, then she goes back to how things were. Mommy, assess it and monitor it, don't just say no, please.

As a mother with a daughter the same age and dealing with the same thing right now. My daughter will be 13 in October. I have decided that for her birthday I will allow her to get the short nails done and pedicures every time I go. I approve appropriate braids for girls her age only. You're not being to strict at all. We as parents have to do what we feel is right for our children, and not what society does or says is right. Big ups to you Spice! Keep up the great work.

Dear Grace. I see where you're going with the situation at hand and I personally commend you for taking a firm stand on the matter. Strict parenting or not those are your children and your responsibility to raise them up with certain standards. Iike it that you teach your children that your parenting does not have to coincide with other parents with 12 yr old daughters and 15 year old sons. A child's growth is from age to different stages and we as parents should do our part as effective and responsible as we can to help them make wise choices. Today's youth are moving too fast. I believe as a celebrity mom, you're doing a great job. No fake nails as of yet, but polish (no loud colors,especially during the school time)won't hurt. Braids (age appropriate) aren't a bad idea because it's a protective style for your natural hair. Crop top shirt...that depends. As I see it Grace is on top of her parenting game so as afr as all these things the daughter is asking for there could be a happy middle just so the lodge doesn't try to hide and do things behind moms back.
