@@elizabethshaw734 Exactly how much instruction in med school did you receive in nutrition and vegan nutrition? I bet you got less than an hour in nutrition and zero in vegan diet. Doctors know practically nothing about the way foods can prevent and cure illnesses. You are taught to treat symptoms, not the root cause of disease. Pharmaceutical companies have their hooks imbedded on medical schools. It’s not your fault. Big Pharma gives tons of money to medical schools so there is no money in it for you to tell people to eat a healthy diet. Type 2 diabetics are prescribed insulin which has terrible side effects and lead to more side effects when proper diet can cure it. I could go on because lots of “chronic” illnesses can be cured by getting off the Standard American Diet (SAD). Take it upon yourself to learn beyond what you’ve been taught. I recommend watching some videos starting with Eating You Alive. It’s very eye opening and has a lot of interesting testimonials from previously traditional MDs. When you see the man break down in tears after taking years of insulin by going on a whole food plant based diet for a few weeks it really is moving. Just research, you can make a lot of people feel that you are a hero. ❤️

Thank you for sharing, I will try this with gluten free pasta. The vegan pantry book would be of no use for me If most recipes contain gluten. The Only gluten my body tolerates is Einkorn which I rarely use. Currently I'm choosing to be completely gluten free.
