The majority of bw don't "need" extensions, and most men keep their hair short. All hair grows, unless there's a medical issue. But people (men and women) do cut their hair. Hope that helps.

Most Black women don’t need extensions but this Black woman is African and my guess is she attended a school that dress codes girls whom hair is longer than 2 inches and since she’s pretty pretty in the face and can pull it off, she may have gotten comfy with the cropped look and is still cutting her hair.
