There are quite a few good ones, but there are a lot of shady ones. Good companies I know of is Big Hit, JYP, Happyface (they’re small), and Beat Interactive (also small). There’s definitely some others like Mamamoo’s company, but I don’t know them all.

fun fact: when they're all giving their new year's wishes at the end, it goes from youngest to oldest in order-with the exception of Hoseok coming before Namjoon, which is backwards, as Hoseok is slightly older (though they were both born in '94). you could say it's because people born in the same year are interchangeable, but others born in the same year, like Jimin and Taehyung ('95), are always placed in the correct order (Taehyung is younger than Jimin), while Hoseok is almost always reversed with Namjoon. it's probably because Namjoon is the leader and tends to come first whenever possible. although sometimes, Yoongi is even swapped with Seokjin (including on some printed materials), and they were born in separate years (Yoongi in '93, Jin in '92). despite how many times I've searched for an answer on that one, I've never found one. so who knows.

Jimin at the center of each group shot. It isn't random placement. That is BigHit's recognition to his achievement as Most Popular Idol 2 years in a row. Which is a big deal because Korean culture value seniority more than merit. Even one of the members asked why their oldest isn't in the middle. This proved that BigHit has broken free of that age-based patriachy system & is focused on merit.
