I like the design of the Club One's more as well as their DJ functions but these look dope as well

How is the sound quality? Are they bass heavy as the sonys? Or they have a balance and flat sound signature?
@joe_nathan13 жыл бұрын
It’s flatter and very nice sounding

Is it just me, or they literally just copied everything in the case except the headphones from Sony Xm4’s?? Same design, almost the same shape of the case, pretty much the same material, same components like the headphone jack, as well as a plane adaptor. Even the way headphones are put in the case was copied

Nice video though!

It's a common design. Bose actually started the oval design and everyone else copied it.

Being bought out by Samsung is probably the best thing that's happened to JBL. God knows they couldn't build a quality product under Harmon's ownership.

You have to be kidding me. I have JBL components in my daily driver and they've performed beautifully throughout my ownership of the car. I have it paired with their W12GTi MK2 12" subwoofer in a custom vented enclosure and that subwoofer is absolutely PHENOMENAL. It's in a vented enclosure and yet it's quick and responsive while still BLASTING low, body vibrating bass. It hits so hard you have to scratch your nose because it tickles it from the vibrations. All of this with distinct, clean sound of the different frequencies, all the way from the low 20's up into the low 100's, you can hear the clean and beautiful bass. Too bad they discontinued that subwoofer, but I'm glad I got it before anyone ran out of stock! I got it back in 2016 and it still sounds absolutely amazing. Oh, and I'm not even feeding it all the power it can handle. I'm feeding it around 600-700RMS tops and I've heard multiple people say they're feeding it 1k RMS and it handles it like a champ. One big part that many people leave out of the install is decoupling surfaces that rattle using foam. That's the secret to having clean and amazing bass in your car. I have absolutely zero rattles in my car and everybody always asks what the hell I'm running that sounds so good.

@@groundcontrol6876 you went on a whole tangent there lol. JBL's headphones and earbuds have been garbage for years and years compared to the competition. The whole E-Series with the exception of the E15 earbuds and E65BTNC headphones were garbage. They had very poor build quality and many defective units with ripped wires by the folding hinges on the headphones. The E25 earbuds had issues with the plastic cracking by the clamp that held the battery attached to your shirt. The whole Everest and Duet series had poor build quality with lots of defective units. Plus poor sealing. How do I know this? I owned and returned most of em lol. I still have the E15 earbuds and E65BTNC headphones since they work perfectly fine there years on. The last generation Live products are also hit or miss. The Live650BTNC headphones are great, and I'm sure the Live 400 and 500 headphones are fine to but the Live 100,200 and 220 earbuds where all garbage. Then you have the Free and Free X earbuds. Again loads of defective products. Same with the Tune 120, 110 and 210 and 220 earbuds. Throughout JBL's history they've been bought and sold numerus times which indicates a struggling company. Making defective products isn't a good look for any company.

@@RobertNES816 I did didn’t I? That happens to me late at night 😂. Well, I’ve only owned one pair of JBL’s and they’re pretty old now and work like new but honestly, they seldom get used because I don’t like the sound. Can’t remember the name but they’re the cans they made with huge drivers that are MEGA bass-ey. You can EQ and drive these to insane bass levels but that’s it, a very niche use while the rest of the music sounds like crap on em. My car audio experience with them was the most I’ve had exposure to on a daily basis though so I spoke about that. Can’t wait till I get the new JBL’s in the mail tho, my old QC35’s are doing the thing where they turn themselves on with the switch set to off and there’s no fix for it.

@@groundcontrol6876 you should consider the Panasonic RP-HD805 headphones. They're only $99 now and absolutely blow the JBL's out of the water. Not sure which headphones you have. But comparing them to my E65BTNC and Live650BTNC the Panasonic's are on a nother level. The clarity, bass and wider then usual sound stage are fantastic. You feed the Panasonic's an Aptx or LDAC signal combined with a lossless audio file and you'll be blown away by em. Plus the noise canceling is a step above the JBL headphones I mentioned. Check em out.

@@RobertNES816 I ordered the Tour Ones recently so just waiting for those to arrive. They look great for my application (replacing the Bose QC35’s) I have some sennheiser HD650’s, the old JBL’s that I can’t remember the name of, some Beyer DT770’s, sure se215’s and a bunch of others that I won’t even bother to list lol. I thini these will suit me just fine but thanks for your input 🙏🏼
