I drive a semi seasonally for a farm operation. There’s this thing with truckers putting their air ride seats all the way to the floor and all you can is their hat over the steering wheel. Sitting like this you absolutely can’t see what’s on the front right corner of the truck over the hood while basically sitting on the floor. It’s supposed to look cool to drive like this I guess. That’s why a lot of the lane changes you see hitting cars in the right lane are happening. You can see over these hoods if you’re seats up where it should be.

You should be seated comfortably… that is, comfortable in relation to the truck’s controls. Mirrors need to be adjusted properly so that they are effective… and sometimes you have to lean forward, or crane your neck a little bit to gain a wider field of view. Too many drivers (apparently) have NO IDEA how to properly adjust their mirrors. Every time I get into my work truck after someone else has been driving it… all I can see in the passenger side mirror is the trailer (instead of what’s along side of it), and blind spot mirrors are at least half filled by my own truck. I don’t know what these guys are trying to see… but it’s clearly not what’s around them 🙄

The first one is awesome. . Way to show just after the stupid truck drive changes lanes and pushes the jeep onto the shoulder. . I'm a 28 yr truck driver veteran with 2+ million mile accident free behind me,because I actually look in my mirrors before changing lanes. These stupid steering wheel holders that are on our roads anymore scare the hell outa me. Just last fall a stupid Canadian driver ran me and my 12yr old daughter off the highway when we were half way passed his trailer. I laid on the horn as I watched him in his mirror, he never looked before changing lanes with no turn signal either. .🤬🤬🤬, just dum ass none paying attention ignorant drivers. In big trucks and cars. .
