I'm fairly new to paladins, why did they implement anti healing after each round? Was healing to strong because of cooldown cards?

Cauterize has been always a must buy in the item store for quite a while lol. So, instead of it being an insta-buy early game, they implemented it as a passive that gets higher as the match plays, capping at 90% at about the ten minute mark. It's a good thing to the game and allows for more variety in your loudout cards too (because there were cards that prevented anti healing, and so since they made it into a passive, these were no longer needed)
