When you call 911, paramedics take us to the hospital if it’s necessary and after that it’s the same wait time and procedures in the hospital… unless someone is dying… Or paramedics staffs only passes our health condition to the hospital staff at the initial stage after that they will leave… so it’s the same waiting time… we waited around 16hrs in Brampton Civic with our fainted toddler…

UK ഇതിലും ഭേദമാ.. അവർ experience um നല്ല ielts score um ഉള്ള നേഴ്സ്മാരെ recruit ചെയ്തു വളരെ പെട്ടെന്ന് ജോലി കൊടുക്കുന്നു.. UK student visa യും പെട്ടെന്ന് കിട്ടുന്നു. എന്നാൽ canada student വളരെ കാലത്താമസവും അവസാനം rejection നും ആകുന്നു.. Migration ന്റെ യും student visa യുടെയും കാര്യത്തിൽ Canada എന്ന രാജ്യം കുറെ വാഗ്ദനങ്ങൾ തന്നു അവസാനം Visa reject ചെയ്തു മൂഞ്ചിക്കുന്നു..

This is Negative ( a big one), cost of medical procedures and bills can be ignored to some extent considering standard of living and other things but not getting help during emergency is a big problem. why ? do they only consider someone bleading to death as an emergency case?. we can only hope that malllu community in Canada develops and we have a representative who can bring in better healthcare. waiting for Sikhs to do something in this regard is futile even though they have a lot of representation within the government.

I would like to give a correction here as I am a registered nurse here.Calling 911 and saying worst pain you are experiencing wouldn’t make paramedics to take you to hospital because their assessment find you feel ok to survive 12 hours ,then chances are less.My personal experience taught me to go to near by urgent care so that you may get services within 5 hours of window period.

These are the true facts and situations. We realise the worth of our Country when we are away from our Motherland. We have freedom and conveniences like transportation, hospitals, shops, super markets, malls and all modern facilities within our reach. We feel our Country is not as developed as other Countries and rush to go to a foreign land. The state of such Developed Countries is really miserable. I wish the higher authorities understand and find a solution to all these problems and make their Country a better place to live. Students pay a lot of money for education and once they reach there they find it difficult even to get a decent part time job. Students can bring their partners and visa is issued without any difficulty but PR holders have to wait for years to bring their spouse to Canada. Grandparents & Parents should be able to join with their children soon. Accommodation is costly too. To survive they have to face a lot of hurdles in life. There are a lot of delays in everything. The rules must change for better and for the convenience of the people. How? When? Who will take the initiative? We can do nothing as it's all beyond a common man's control. Anyway wishing all those rushing to other countries the best in life.

You are required to call 911 and they will take care of the rest.Otherwise you have to wait the for Long time. It depends Sir. From my personal experiences, even in Vancouver I waited for ambulance for almost 1.5 hours after I had a mishap breaking one hand and dislocating other shoulder. Since I couldn’t manage the pain, I had someone else drive to emergency since ambulance didn’t come. Not to mention I had to wait another 3-4 hours in emergency ward waiting room in pain before meeting doctor. I am not sure of the situation 20 or 40 years back, but things look grim atleast in the last 3 years with a huge influx of immigrants and with COVID

You are absolutely right! Canada has Universal healthcare. Meaning everyone has a right to healthcare. However, the healthcare has not grown to meet the growing number of new immigrants. Thus the long wait times. As the mother of a child who went through cancer treatment in Toronto, I can vouch for the quality. But just like any other developed country with universal healthcare, we are understaffed and over worked. We need more healthcare workers and doctors immigrating to the country who are willing to go through the training to meet the standards here. It's a work in progress. Lastly, Just like every thing in the world there is always bad that comes with every good.
