Note on the SMG-45, when being reloaded in third person the fact that the charging handle falls backwards is actually somewhat realistic. The use if KAC irons on the M4 is correct. Not only did the USMC briefly start to transition to the M4/M4A1 before opting to the M-27, but MARSOC has been known to use both the M4A1 SOPMOD Block 2 and the FSP variant for many years, as well as the Mk18. Keep in mind the Mk18 started life being called the CQBR or Close Quarter Battle Reciever, they were cut down Colt M4's or M4A1's by Crane to give special operations groups a smaller version of the carbine for working in confined spaces. Later they would build complete rifles off of surplus M16A1's known as the Mk18 Mod 0. A later variant with the DD RIS II Mk18 rail were typically Colt made M4 or M4A1 lower reciever groups with the new upper put on called the Mk18 Mod 1. Now they can be found called the Geissele URGI, or M4A1 SOPMOD Block 3/Mk18 Mod 2 with a 13.5" or 9.3" Geissele Mk16 MLOK handguard. Even with all these variants and names, all lower recievers of Mk18's are still marked as M4's or M4A1's regardless of the manufacturer. KAC irons are standard on USMC service rifles, but those in special operations groups can chose to remove or change them. The same goes for magazines (like Surefeed's, Magpul PMAG's, Lancer AWM's, and C Products Duramag's) charging handles (PRI Gas Buster's and Geissele ACH's), and even triggers like the Geissele SSF. Its a good catch with the RIS II Mk18 handguard, but since the weapon seems to have a 12.5" barrel, I believe the DD GL/SSC rail would have been a better option to include in the game. For the FAL, what's listed in the game as a 13" barrel from an OSW is actually correct, and they can even get as short as 11". Although I've never heard of any military or police force ever using the OSW. Most of the weapons in the game are modeled from military service weapons, using a civilian company like DSA that does not make rifles for military contracts, and specifically builds rifles with features meant for the US market (like 16" barrels) can make it a bit confusing, and I'm not quite sure why IW chose to do this. However, to see it depicted in any game is always neat.

Hey man, love the video. However as an actual Javelin operator in real life I feel that I must point on an inaccuracy in your video. The javelin absolutely can “lock on” to the ground and be fired like that in real life. What the game does wrong is an auto lock on, a javelin uses track gates that must be manually “locked on” with a D-pad. The javelin only “locks on” to a targets hear signature, so as long as your track gates lock onto an object with a heat signature it’ll follow that target until it hits it or is obstructed. But yes you can absolutely fire it without a “lock on” to an actual object. I’ve fired them at dirt patches and walls when we were on ranges that didn’t have destroyed vehicles in them. Anyway love the video, as I always do lol. Have a great day

Regarding the MG5, it’s an open bolt machine gun. I wouldn’t recommend charging the bolt to the rear position before loading the belt, but it would still function just fine. If the bolt has dropped forward, this would be called a chunk, then you would have to manually charge the weapon to get it back into battery. Riding the bolt to the rear position charges it, and then the shooter pushes the charging handle to the forward position. Source: I’m a machine gunner in the military.

lmao this is great, you should change the title to "but narrated" also, some p90 variants don't have the proper ejection port. I thin you should also make a video about the attachments

Another thing with the KAR 98K Is that a bullet is never ejected when opening the bolt during a tactical reload, and you don't have to reload that bullet when loading in rounds individually (sniper scope).

You are right about the 1911. I never noticed it before by my actual 1911 has a blackened barrel with a chrome ejector port.

Ah yes, the Caldwell chain pistol from Hunt: Showdown. I’d classify that more as an smg than a revolver if you build your character right lol.

The "Urban Defiler" blueprint is also a completely different gun than a glock, it's an Archon Stryk A/B (forget which exact model it was), it is so different that the magazine attachment models had to be altered to fit into the stryk blueprints because they would clip through the grips of the gun.

On the M4, the ejection port wouldn't change for the .458 since the standard ejection port is capable of ejecting the shell and still ensuring it impacts the brass deflector. The 9mm port isn't truly necessary for the same reason. Some people do it to better guide the ejected brass. A lot of weapons have the same size ejection port when switching calibers. Same for the MCX when going between 5.56 and .300. The cartridge on the two are the same diameter. The SKS detachable magazines are also not a factory component nor is the polymer stock. They are aftermarket options. They are pretty widespread too. Considered heinous by some people however. You also missed how the featherweight slide for the X16 is labeled as 9x19mm despite the weapon being in .45 ACP.

I think the game deliberately made some of the "mistakes" so Activision won't get sued by the gun companies. Because they didn't buy a single gun license lol.

While MW has some big inaccuracies with it’s weapons, I still think they did a fantastic job with making the attachments look believable (well to someone not that knowledgeable about guns) CW has a lot attachments that make me recoil upon looking at them as well as question the logic behind it

Another thing, the javelins flight path in game is straight up then travels forward at a downward inclination. In real life, it travels at an upward inclination forward and then (almost) straight down at the end to hit its target

Don't know if anyone has commented on this yet, but the port on the heartbeat sensor isn't a VGA port. it's a Serial port(although incorrectly named parallel on the model). That type of port is still widely used today for programing, bar code scanners, satellite phones, LED and LCD text displays(things like cash registers). They also interface with GPS receivers and other networking devices. So it was probably used for programming, updating, and communicating with other devices.

The 40 round ak mag is just a polymer 30 rounder... Also the feather weight slide for the X16 is compensated, yet it can except a suppressor.

The Uzi in Black Ops 1 had the grip safety, in a time when COD wasnt trying to be realistic but more of an arcade shooter instead. Videos on the old games would be amazing
