Ominis Gaunt Explained - Was He The True Hero of Hogwarts Legacy?

Ominus comes across as a prude but he really does have the peoples best interest at heart... despite being two things slightly taboo in the potterverse 1) A slytherin and 2) A Gaunt of all people, he is incredibly kind and caring always trying to get you to avoid the dark arts knowing first hand what path is leads to.... Poor guy just wanted to be rid of dark magic and live in peace. Also his wand lore is perfect as a decendant of salazar slytherin as slytherins wand was sentient he could use parsletongue to put it to sleep Gormla gaunt did it to isolt when she eventually found her at ilvermory, brilliant small connect there. I bet he was meant to be like the angel on your shoulder like Sebastian is your Devil with the apparent scrapped morality system as usually when it comes to learning the unforgivables Ominus is usually there to give you the 'You will regret this theres no going back after using (enter curse) this' Wheras sebs just there... 'well i..... COULD teach you!' 😂 They really shoulda kept a morality system where your characters dialogue would change depending on how you react/answer do things. Theres was clearly a lot meant to be in the game that was let go that makes it a little confusing at times but its still fun nonetheless.. Edit - I didn't need to use the imperious curse on ominus convinced him to step aside, will that affect my ending, Can anyone tell me?

I totally agree. Yes they should have kept the morality system but I guess the devs was like "we dont wanna judge how anyone plays."

It's still too early to confirm whether Ominis is a hero or a villain. Determining Ominis' true identity will depend on the player's actions and choices in Hogwarts Legacy.😂😂

Just subscribed! 🙂 The Hogwarts Legacy page on Instagram posted in their comment section (awhile back ago) "He has a pure heart". Ominis is definitely the innocent/possible hero in all of this. ❤️‍🔥 Tbh I'm worried about what might happen to him. I've read that some people have a theory that if Sebastian is in Azkaban his hate & rage will only grow, (as mentioned in the game) and if Ann passes away while he's in Azkaban there's a pretty good chance he may hold it against Ominis & the MC, If he breaks out somehow he may end up killing Ominis 🥺 that's my worry as well. Great game & video you did about Ominis btw👍🏻 Slytherin house ftw! 💚🐍

Thanks a lot! Yes I think that same thing really. might happen to Ominis if Sabastian is imprisoned and Anne dies before he gets out. Although I like both Sabastian and Ominis, I feel Anne's death definitely would be a mental breaking point for Sabastian.

The game's plot is good, I have to play it immediately
