Omloop Het Nieuwsblad 2023

The Omloop Het Nieuwsblad is the traditional opener of the Belgian cycling season. After weeks of preparation in sunny places, the peloton battles the cold in addition to the Flemish cobblestones and hills.
The main favorites for the 2023 edition were: Tom Pidcock, Tim Wellens, Matej Mohoric, Dylan Van Baarle, Christophe Laporte and Arnaud De Lie.

toen in 2022 Wout van Aert voorop reed achter de motoren, zeiden de commentatoren...ja dat is normaal he... dan moeten de anderen ook maar voorop rijden... Nu van Baerle er rijdt zegt men dat het een muur is in het voordeel van v Baerle :) Niet helemaal objectief dus naar mijn mening ;-)
