As an Australian who’s heard many a white man play a didgeridoo, all very badly ! I can tell you without fear of contradiction that this guy really knows his craft and that of this ancient of ancients instrument. I reckon this guy would fit right in at a Australian First Nations corroboree (Dreamtime dance) Love the song too.

As soon as I publish my math thesis and get a escholarship to Princeton or Oxford, I'm shaving my head, getting tatoos of Munnin and Huggin on either bicep, Odin the Wanderer on my chest and The Morrigan (a major celtic deviation from my Odinist ways) on my back. Then I'm taking my All State (new York) clarinet skills to play this song and jump around while doing so just like this guy. Hey, I'm a Christian too, and I still read the sagas and the Kalevala. The funny thing is that the Aesir and most of the figures in the Kalevala are not actually "gods" in the popular sense, they're actually "culture heroes" or ancestral heroes who attained a godlike status in the minds of men and women after their death, and in the Kalevala it's pretty clear that there's a Higher Being watching over all the rest. I enjoy reading these books, and I highly recommend them to anyone interested in such things!
