I'm sorry, maybe it's just me but it kills me to see so many great books on your shelf that are still unread and even still sealed in wrap, a lot of us would kill to just have a few of these and enjoy the stories. I have a very humble collection and don't have the space or money for an impressive wall of books but I love and re-read every one I've got.

Hey dude I'm new here and I just wanted to let you know if you dont like books that are two dark but want to get into punisher I highly reccomend welcome back frank by Garth ennis and steve Dylan (my favourite writer and artist combo) it's like a pg 13 punisher book but one of my all time favourites. It's kinda funny aswell in certain places. Great video keep up the great work.

I agree about the DC spines. They are glorious. Marvel Omnis please my OCD mind with their consistency (mostly), but DC is much more creative there.

DC spins are made like trash at least Marvels omnibus have stitched binding. DC just simply uses glue and the books start falling apart after one read.

Omar’s perseverance in deepening his relationship with DH gives me hope that they will eventually produce non-limited HCs of their volumes to meet growing demand, but if that does occur I also expect that it won’t happen until they’ve produced and sold out of LTD Eds of his entire DH run to date.

The original New Teen Titans Omnibus ONLY collected the stuff by George Perez, the new printing collects everything, so those 3 are missing around half of all issues, to such an extent it makes it unreadable.

I was watching you mention Sins Past and had to double check but that story was in the first JMS omni the second has One More Day. It's sad how JMS has his name attached for changes that editorial made. I mean JMS originally didn't even want his name attached to One More Day. I wonder what would have happened if JMS had been left alone and done his run as he intended. I would pay for acollection that collected JMS' run as he intended. Maybe call it "What if JMS had written Amazing Spider-man the way he intended".

Thanks for clearing that up!! Dude YES! A #jmscut would be awesome. I loved all the stuff with Ezekiel, the totem etc. He really did have some great ideas and some really solid stories, but you are right - editorial mandates really ended up screwing his run up :(

@@SuperSquadD A little off topic but when you mentioned the totem I couldn't help but remember Jeff Lemire's New 52 run on Green Arrow. In the War of the Clans arc instead of the animals JMS used Lemire used warrior clans like archers. Lemire even called them totems. While I was reading that I thought great idea Jeff but JMS did it first. If you haven't read it you should check out the HC collection I'd love to know if you felt the same way reading it.

Do you only buy omnibus/ohc and read everything else digitally?

For the most part! Since space is limited and I don’t mind reading digitally I usually go omnibus or digital to keep a uniform look! Absolutely nothing wrong with other formats (I used to collect singles and trades) but for me this kind of fits the style I’m going for! The iPad was a great investment for reading a lot of other stuff!

@@SuperSquadD agreed. That’s what I’ve found. I’m selling off trades I won’t re-read or am upgrading to a hardcover. So much better. I use a surface for digital reading and save a tonne not buying everything that looks interesting.
