oh man do i remember this game.. took me and my buddies a full two weeks just to get past the level one boss. well, we were like 6 / 7 yrs at the time and no internet to fall back on haha! Thanks for uploading this.
And how do you know the world 10 will apear in this place???

Good question. The location of the entrance of World 10 is determined at the start of the game. The authors presumably checked the memory addresses at the start of the game to ensure they had good luck.

One of the best games for the MSX. We found out about the stepping stones by pure luck. How you were supposed to work it out was anyone's guess.

I spent many a restless night trying to figure out the stepping stones I was so frustrated. But as far as im aware I was the first person in the UK to find the frigging cross I actually cried when I finished the game id spent so much time trying to find the cross I was just overcome when I finally killed Galious and I was only a young teenager ;)

There are many moments about this game that will be indented into my childhood forever. The stepping stones was a big one! that feeling when you first saw that fkr appear was amazing. The doll bridge was another, though not quite as much time spent pondering that one.

I used to play this game with my dad. I remember him getting home from work once and he said, come and look what I found last night! and in the inventory he pointed at the vase! "Where!?" "this room with some guards. I just kept knifing and jumping and it appeared." This was at the point where we had taken back 9 worlds and collected everything except the dagger, vase and the cross. We were stuck there for months. We never did find the dagger (not until the days of the internet anyway). In a way I'm glad that we didn't because if we did, it would have been such a disappointment. How would we have figured out you had to type umbrella!? Finding the cross was a whole adventure of it's self. We knew it was the key to murdering Galious because the instruction book, in it's cryptic tone, said as much. We mapped out all the rooms in castle on graph paper and figured out that it was actually in the shape of a castle and that there were missing rooms. An epic moment. Before we did that, the gap at the top of the saber lift had us going for months! This is the best game of my childhood. I loved the Nemesis franchise too.

Please read the-... Huh. This time it's not in the description? Weird. I'll do it. There is a bit of "cheating," yes. As the text at the start said, what you're seeing is called a Tool Assisted Superplay (TAS). It's a runthrough of the game where it was recorded in slow motion, while using the emulator's save/load state functions to create a perfect (Or as close to perfect as has been found) run through. I say "cheating" because there's no real cheating like cheat codes or anything, just pinpoint precision reflexes and extreme amounts of luck... Also the occasional beneficial glitch, but those are just unintended features. See tasvideos.org/1833M.html for the details of this recording, and also check out what other games look like when played through with superhuman reflexes.

Its ok I realised after id put the comment that it was a TAS, thing is I was almost this good on it when I used to play it when I was young.
@PatchyDragon9 жыл бұрын
***** yeah, that's why I am explaining. The bumper screen at the start identifies it as one, but it wasn't put in the description or title as is usually the standard for things published from Tasvideos.org . There's really no reason to be rude.
