This song had a special place in my heart. When i was 13 i wrote the lyrics to this song in my Mother's Day Card and i remembered playing this song for her when she came to pick me up... She passed away at 2018 which had a huge impact on me, my studies, my relationship with friends... But instead of putting it in a negative way. I feel like it was time for me to grow up. Taylor Swift fans, say what you say about Ye. He’s had his moments. But nobody, and that includes Taylor, can capture the emotions Ye can in his songs. Starting from growing from his pain and turning it into an epic song with Daft Punk, to mourning his mother in a song all about her. All the things he would do for her and will do for her for everything she did for him growing up. Just try making that, Taylor.

Kanye took the world by storm with this massive song. That collab with Daft Punk was almost unthinkable back then; it's music for posterity
