I always put my eyebrows too high, too. I'm going to try to use that fingernail tip the next time I try doing a faceup. I have a bunch of Mocha kits to do; I'm just waiting for the temps to warm up a bit. I've actually kind of been intimidated about doing the mocha dolls, as compared to the natural ones, so it's really nice to hear that you think they're bit a bit more forgiving. Thanks for the video! She turned out lovely.

What you'll find is that you need a few more coats of color - so it may take a little longer but you can really gradually get to the look you like. Good luck!

You can also use Liquitex Matte varnish as a substitute for the MSC if you would rather not use it

Gorgeous job! I love your tutorials, and have a question I would appreciate your help with. I was really happy initially with the faceup on my first attempt to customize a mocha mio kit, so I proudly began sealing with Mr Super Clear. I realized a little late that the level of the eyebrows was too high, though I liked the shape, fullness and color. I would like to draw them again, but since there are layers of sealant on the sandpaper and magic eraser I used to correct mistakes before are not quite as effective as before. I have not been able to remove the eyebrows to start over, they look stuck there. Is there a way to stick gently remove faceup once you have applied layers of sealant or is it 100% permanent?

the faceup probably took me a weekend, but it's mostly because you have to wait for every coat to dry!

Jonathan Almanza Not all dolls are perfect. Some eyes will get stuck, such as my Nanachan's eye.

Hmm, which doll is it? Some dolls don't keep their eyes closed but they should all at least wink. It sounds like there's something stuck in the eye mechanism.

Yes. There are lots of alternatives - Testor’s Dullcote, ZM Finishing Powder Spray, Games Workshop Spray Varnish Matte and Mr. Hobby Top Coat Flat/Matte
