I suggest you read the manga then it would make sense because the movie kind of inserts his past here and there without fully explaining things-? like some important parts are missing. I'm not a fan of the ending though but, you should at least read the Vol 1. of the manga before you watch!

I'm just at a loss of words with this song, the dance demonstrates Yashiro's and Doumeki's relationship so well and so beautifully, Yashiro is so complex, he is trapped in his own cage and the only one who can get him out is Doumeki but he doesn't let him because he thinks they both will be trapped if he lets him in and he wants D to be free, i'm just in love with this song

In my opinion this song is sung from Doumeki's POV though. I don't think Yashiro will ever want anyone to stay with him since he's afraid of love. And in the manga it's also Doumeki who's chasing and wanting Yashiro to stay with him. Also there're phrases like "Hidden thoughts behind that far away look" or "Lonely smile and sweet breath" which I think is more reasonable describing Yashiro.

if you read the manga first, you can saw the hidden meaning behind their dancing. It's quite pretty visual for their dynamic relationship throughout the story, and the meaning hidden behind is so powerful in my opinion maybe because of the genre itself psychological plot. @@avourrito1819 Honestly, if you just google it, there are quite a few websites that pop up, but- I guess- Mangakakalot works. That's like the first search option you get so there's one. Also, you can actually find the first chapter on KZbin with the Drama Cd. You just need to search for it. Although, if you can, maybe consider purchasing it instead to support the author and all. Edit: I just found out that you can find a lot of the later chapters of the manga with the Drama CD on KZbin.
