This movie was good . I thank God because something happened to me . Myself and my husband separated . I lost my best friend , the one I said till death do us apart. But the marriage couldn’t work . I was heart broken but this brought me closer to God. I am so forever grateful to God for his infinite mercies . Although I am alone I am very happy and contented .

At first I couldn't see where the movie was heading, but the ending and the way the character explained what happens when we turn away from the Lord. Thank you for making it simple and clear. God bless you abundantly to continue serving in this ministry.

Great movie. One lesson I learnt here is never to put our trust in men cos they can't give us lasting joy, only Jesus can . Omolola tried to help John but since John allowed her take God's place as the giver of joy, God had to prove himself as the only true source of everlasting Joy. God also used him to rescue Lola from her wayward lifestyle. I want to believe that Bro John is a human and he has family members somewhere, although nothing of such was mentioned in the film. I think the pastor should have ensured at least one of them( or another Godly bro) comes to stay with him. When help wasn't coming from a good source, a believer in crisis may end up opt-in to whatever is available, which may end lead to more critical issues as we saw it .

Exactly, my thoughts about his family. African cultures treat grief, especially untimely death as if it is something people can easily snap back from. Therapy is a looked over tool in recovery from trauma and pain.

I was hoping that she would remember John. So so sad

Normally I enjoyed the content and the script, but this movie is concerning sending mix messages. To consider Omolola the devil that John showered love on is sad. Although Omolola was a cast away John accepted her and he took her out of alcoholism and a dark path. We as believers have to realize just being there for another person is part of being Jesus's hands and feet. Remember Paul planted Apollo watered but God gives the increase [1 Cor. 3:6]. God would never say that he wasted his love on any of us for Love keeps record of no wrong [1 Cor13:1]. Saying the God wasted his love on John is concerning for me The foundational issue was never addressed, the mourning of his spouse. That was what the church should have gradually worked on. I was also once told after the death of my father that by 6 months I have sinned because I was still mourning. That is a very insensitive statement to say. When John's friend Emmanuel said that and the other friend kept silent it was a silent yes which out not to be. If one mourns past 6 days the person has backslided. That's not the case. This is a message we as a Christian community need to stop. Everyone mourns differently but let's show love and walk with the brethern until they reach their place of complete healing. I really belive that God used John to deliver Omolola and if not for John she would still be in her mess. John did not understand his assignment with her. He was not to marry her but to bring her out of the clubbing lifestyle and make her responsible. Someone else is ordained to bring her to Christ. John was never healed from the death of his spouse and that should of been the target. His healing and questions about the death of his spouse. There is no cookie cutter way to mourn or show love. Lets be like Jesus for real.

Maybe, there will be a part two to address the loss of his wife. Normally, when people get in relationship so quickly it's not true love. That's the love of his wife talking. Six months, nah. Too soon. Wait, I think I understand now. The story is not really about the initial couple but about Omolola.

Dealing with grief and trauma is something our culture treats as if people should blink and all will be well. No plans for trauma recovery and grief counselling.
