@@qibburger You know, the accident was really unlucky. So many tiny things could have happened which would have drastically impacted the outcome of OMORI’s story. What I’m saying is, OMORI has a lot of alternate universes, and the one OMOCAT made a game about was one of the worst. Also, OMOCAT pulled the strings of the universe technically to cause the accident, so it’s OMOCAT’s fault.

Here are some other Easter eggs that I have noticed! January- Can’t Find Anything February- Can’t Find Anything March- Mari could be wearing something that resembles Aubrey’s Head Band in the future April- This Photo Takes place right after one of the memories in Memory Lane (The one where Sunny was confirmed to have a crush on Aubrey) May- This is the location of their secret hideout spot! June- This is where everyone was saving up to buy sunny his violin! July- I can’t find any direct references here! August- this is their tree house where they all used to hang out September- Mari is wearing the outfit seen in Head Space (missing the little scarf) October- Old Halloween Art November- Can’t Find any references (Asides from Aubrey’s scarf) December - This is their last Christmas Together this is where Sunny got his Violin during that one memory in Memory Lane What I can speculate is that the calendar shows us the gangs last year together as a family before the incident, which thinking about it makes it very sad as since this was their last year all whole before that fateful accident and Omocat showed us everything that happened before so, damn you beautiful bastard!

Y'all, headbands and hair ties are two different things Headbands are always for front hairs, and is always larger, also it's semi circle Hair ties are smaller, "circle with no fills", and is for back hair (you can use it for front hair, BUT STILL)

I'm pretty sure neighbor's room is supposed to be the tree house. The big yellow cat is supposed to represent the calender inside it-- it being so big and considered one of the gods of headspace, likely due to how big and important the dates leading up to the recital were to Mari.

@@finleymorris04 The whole point of the game, is that Sunny was not always so happy, but he buried any signs of his discontent. Underneath all the smiles and everybody being so happy, Sunny was suffering in silence, secretly. While that is seen as a noble act of sacrifice in Japanese culture, it is entirely toxic and it will someday burst forth and cause major problems, just like it did in this story. It isn't wholly Sunny's fault, though some of it is, obviously. Mari kept pushing him, Sunny couldn't come up with the courage to step up and say "I can't take this anymore" and kept telling himself that he has to go on, etc. And the others never noticed the signs of Sunny's secret suffering because they were so happy with their own lives. It's a little bit everybody's fault. And besides, some of the scenes later in the game make it look like that while Mari is sadly gone, there _can_ be happiness in the future for them. Aubrey wants to keep in touch with Sunny and wants him to visit sometimes, and heck the friend group might even grow as Hero encouraged Aubrey to bring Kim, Vance, and the others too. There can be light in the future for these soon to be young adults.

another thing i noticed was in the march photo, mari looks like she's wearing something like aubrey's faraway headband. (sensitive content/discussion warning- references to s**c*de and d**th) regarding the slippers in december, basil not wearing any could reference the common japanese tradition to take your shoes off before entering your house with the intention of not tracking dirt into the house, and also taking them off before committing suicide as to not track dirt into the afterlife. since basil's halloween costume is an angel, we can kind of infer that he would probably do something like this. the main reason why i bring this up is that, chronologically speaking, basil is the first to be able to off himself in the neutral ending, and also requests that everyone take off their shoes before entering his house in headspace.
