Further supporting this is the fact that, this isn't the ONLY instance of eerily similar clothing we see. Thanks to official art, we see aubrey doing this same thing too- in regards to mari. The headband she wears in-game is nigh identical to a hair tie that mari wears in one of the calendar drawings. Not to mention an ENTIRE OUTFIT she wears in art released for her birthday is, also, almost IDENTICAL to the one mari is seen wearing in one of the photo album pictures, just with a color change. The point about girl Sunny wearing the same clothing as Mari; normal Sunny also changed his clothes after Mari died to be similar to Mari's, specifically the collared shirt. In the duet sequence, we see Mari wearing collared shirts a bunch and in most artwork of her, however Sunny is shown to just wear normal t-shirts, until after Mari dies in which he changes his shirt to be collared. So it just makes sense for genderbent Sunny to have even more similar clothes to Mari.

The theory isn't foolproof, though, because Sunny wouldn't have gotten into high school before the accident, and there are no uniforms in the September calendar picture.
