Something I just realised by watching the cut scene over and over again. Mari is always depicted wearing a collared shirt. And it's not until after Mari's death does Sunny start wearing them too.

It's safe to say that collared shirt was Mari's Favorite, and she wore it at the same age sunny is by the time we play as him, which is why it fits him. Sunny wears Mari's favorite shirt to remember her by, maybe?

There are 3 separate dates from Basil’s photo album (3/31, 8/14, 9/22) where Sunny can be seen where a collared shirt prior to Mari’s death. This is my favorite study music. When I first saw this scene, I was overridden with emotions. It was bittersweet. This game really helped me grow and learn how to forgive myself for the things I used to beat myself up for 24/7. I think playing Omori was the final push out of my 5-year long depression.

I was out of my depression for a while but when I played Omori I cried in every session I had. I had to stop for a while cause it was just hitting me so hard. I had told my friends and some were worried but, I know they don't know how deeply I can connect with it. Not only that but it's almost been a month since I played and beat the sunny route and I've looked at my times where I was so close to ending it myself, and it's only strengthen my resolve to keep fighting. Especially the fight you have with yourself. That hit me harder than anything I could have ever imagined. My heart throbbing/aching/grieving/crying both for myself and sunny. That and the secret cutscene where you see the smile and glimmer of light return to Sunny's eye that makes me feel cathartic about everything that had happened.

fun facts i noticed: bb sunny dont has a nose sunny had messy hair when he met hero and kel, but stopped. the white tulips have a little heart thing sticking out of it mari is surrounded by white egret orchids (I think that's how you spell it???) while in her coffin kel was missing a tooth for a bit, but he grew it back :) if you look closely at the clothing rack, you can see the pants mari was wearing in the scene before

When I got to this part in the play through I was watching, I was already getting hit in the feels. I saw the animation of Sunny getting up and thinking it was just a neat touch for the final boss & it was going to be this absolutely epic fight...AND THEN THIS STARTS. I wonder what Omori would be like in the Omari AU. For sure, it would be way more heartbreaking to see one of the most cheerful people in the friend group slowly fall into depression. Though I know, Mari won't have the guts to hang Sunny when he dies. And instead the witness would be Hero. I can just imagine that when sunny throws the violin and Mari blocks his path, he'll push Mari but instead Mari moves and Sunny falls down the stairs. Then Mari would have the guilt Sunny had, she would wish that she should have never moved out of the way.

Im stuck in a parking lot so dont mind me just makinf noise. So like along the lines of the music represents the person... when the violin starts is around the time id assume sunny starts to really care for and adore for his sister. When mari saves him from drowning we hear that little peak, something like gratitude and thankfulness. When they are playing at the recital is when the music is the loudest, we know sunny played for mari's sake so... Also when the song ends, the soft notes of mari on the piano ring as a gentle reminder that after all she still adores her sweet brother. As the song goes on the violin begins to develop into its own more independent melody but still a compliment to the piano. Like how sunnys life and friends were all sort of instigated by mari and all that but in the end he still lived his life tied to her. Watching this scene after beating the game made me feel so empty?? I guess you can say, Omori is such a beautiful game. I love it so much, I would do anything to play it for the first time. First game I played in a while that I actually felt like what the character was feeling, throughout the gameplay I connected with everyone; Sunny, Hero, Aubrey. This game is just an overall masterpiece. This scene was an overall masterpiece. I cried while it was playing, I’m glad they played it towards the end of the game and not the beginning. I really can’t describe how I felt after beating the game and seeing this. Overall a great well done to the developers. I will forever love Omori.
