Hey Guys!
I started to see how the water is stagnant in chennai roads after the michaung cyclone on December 4th 2023. I started to check from marina beach water logged in the beach. The roads were submerged in water. The Ajantha bridge was full of water and I took the route of Santhome beach to check how the rain has affected chennai. Rain has receded in Chennai and Cyclone Michaung has moved to coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh. But still, many places in Chennai are waterlogged, affecting the lives of Chennai people. The entire road was flooded and the roads were fine after lighthouse beach. Due to the metro work also the OMR road is affected and a lot of water is there on the roads due to the chennai michaung cycle and rains. The adyar bridge was to the brim but did not overflow this time. Adyar road was not having water like 2015 chennai floods. The chembarambakkam lake was controlled this time and opened properly. The OMR new bridge opened near madhya kailash was clean. There is a lot of water near Tidal park thiruvanmyur. advice people not to come here to TIdal park as there is knee level water and hip level water in chennai areas. The thoraippakkam signal was flooded and Perungudi world trade center was flood in the cyclone rain. You cant take the OMR pallavaram connection and also can not connect shollinganallur perumbakkam road as its flooded and boats are used to rescue people stuck in water. The people need a lot of help and support in evacuation and rescue from the chennai floods. Take care !
