Samantha James was so ahead of her time. I extremely respect her for not letting record companies make her into something that shes not. I can't began to explain how crazy her impact on the main stream music industry would have been, if she would have chose to go that route. she would be a problem for a lot artist out today.

Her 2 albums from 2007/2008 ‘Rise’ and ‘subconscious’ remain hugely underrated masterpieces and an example how to use newer electronic production values but not at the expense of lazy songwriting. Check out the great key change at the end of this song for example.

The entire album is a must have. The only problem is it's hard to find in stores because they only order two copies and of course both copies have been sold. This song is something you listen to around the crib. The video adds to it's relaxing sound. I hope it gets some rotation so the rest of the world can see this great talent!!! Go Sammy J
