Hey, your advice worked! I ended up having to put my phone and the Omron device in my microwave (because it's a faraday cage) and only open it when pushing buttons to confirm.

I came across your video to see why my Omron BP786 when I wasn't able to sync with my latest iPhone 13. It occurred to me that I had never paired/sync'd the BP786 with it, but recalled that I restored the original OS backup from my previous phone. The backup contained the previous BT relationship, but likely something with security prevented it from syncing. To fix, went into the iPhone 13> Bluetooth settings, selected HEM-7321T-Z and "Forget This Device. Then, went into the Omron app and repaired the BP786. Worked fine after that. I feared that Omron phased out this April 2015 model as that happened with my Easy@Home Bluetooth Body Fat Scale that I bought around the same time. The Omron and Easy@Home scale both worked great with iOS Health kit, but a few years 3-years later (or so) the Easy@Home became obsolete. I'm unsure why as it worked great and had a full feature set that many of today's model have. The Easy@Home scale is now a dumb paper weight. Stay away from the brand. On a positive note, I'm glad that the Kardia EKG monitor works seemlessly with the Omron app. I'm unsure if it was a partnership or an outright purchase of the company. Its great that they worked will and still integrate with HealthKit. I appreciate your video. It gave me some ideas.

Thanks! I had similar issue while upgrading my iPhone 10 to a 13 and I couldn't pair it. The trick was to move away from other devices...

The main issue I have seen is Android versions. Android 8 and above introduced security changes to the Bluetooth stack. If you can find an Android 7 device to pair with, you will then be able to use the monitor with a newer phone.

Google Pixel 5 is not compatible with Omron BP786 according to Omron customer support. I purchased the Jan 2021. According to the serial number, the BP786 was built in 2015. Was told that current models are compatible with Android 11. Use the same email to sign in to Omron account and the history will be there if using a new Omron model. Oh well.

I managed to get it to pair with Android 11 using your video but it will not sync my data. It's a shame that Omron is forcing its customers to upgrade devices due to software incompatibility.

Took me a few tries and got it paired but now it won't sync when I know there are old readings to sync. Says there is nothing to sync.
