OMSI 2 - Karosa C954 & C954E

The C954 series is an intercity bus manufactured by the Czech Karosa company between 2001 and 2006. This is the successor of the C934 series. The C954E is a modified version debuted in 2003. Apart from some minor adjustments the most significant change was the replacement of the windows with glued glass fastened in rubber to avoid water leaking. The C954 series was designed primarily for regional and long-distance routes.

Looks like a superb vehicle - I can't fault the model, the cab textures are wonderful, and the bass rumble of the engine is lovely. Some of the other sounds are a little bit annoying, though.

The codes for the IBIS in the Karosa C954E: 1234, then 4321, then 5555. Turnusu means 'Line' eg 51200 Linky means 'Route' and Spoje means 'Destination'. Remember to refer to the included HOF PDF for the IBIS codes. For example if we want to take passengers from Moravski Branice Train Station, we must enter 15400 in Turnusu field (press enter button) 02 in Linky field (press enter button) 04 should automatically be entered in the Spoje field (press enter button). No need to use the drop down section from the ALT menu which is missing necessary destination info and is therefore incomplete, hence why it's best to use the IBIS. Remember the Karosa C954E is the model with the matrix display so in order to display destinations, you must use this model. The destination will show on the front, side and the number on the rear display panel. Remember to use version 2.1 HOF with 2.1 version of the map! Don't use the older HOF version, otherwise the front display will not light up.

NebraskaPokemon Yeah, but I think you ride on a Nova or Orion or some other bus, not Karosa. In Europe, usually intercity buses have these types of doors, urban ones have normal side opening doors like you see on Citaro.

FirstGear Turn on the cash register with the green button as seen at 0:52. Then wait until the system boots up, then you'll have to enter 3 codes. First code is 1234, then 4321, and finally 5555.

The driver's figure is tied to the map. Just open the *drivers.txt* file in the map's folder and change the path of the character.

Try changing the number of neighbour tiles to 1. It will decrease the view distance, but can improve the fps significantly.

@@rheyvaldojunifer2963 Did you remember to shift gears? Also, did you allow enough time for the compressed air system to reach 8 bar? If not, you will get a ringing alarm sound when trying to throttle and it will feel like the bus is 'dragging it's wheels'. Just wait a few minutes with the engine running and only drive when the STOP light goes out.
