Just for note, its pronounced Bow "as in in Bow and Arrrow". Bowdenham. Not bow "as in take a bow" :) I hear a lot of people mis-pronounce it

In America the lights on the sides are called taxi lights. They are there so people can make an outline of the bus if the road is dark

down in Weymouth you get stagecoach express coaches and first which is the most common bus company there. in Dorset and Cornwall you get a arriva, first, and stagecoach. in the south east you have Brighton and Hove busses, stagecoach, arriva, first, and go

Interestingly enough in New York our X2 route also uses coach buses. They mostly use buses from a company called Prevost, which if I recall correctly, is owned by Volvo.

My local operator I arriva southern counties. It is very expensive however someone I know lives in warminster so when I'm down there I take the first west of england 265. First west of england is much cheaper. Arriva runs greenline coaches 748,757,758 and 755. They also run the arriva surrey X1 coach service from guildford to Horsham. First bus did run the X10 with coaches however they have gone. Stagecoach own megabus and they run some coach services.

In My Loacal Area Stagecoach Dominate Local bus services as stagecoach on sunderland are all intracity excluding one intercity and Go-Ahead Run go north east which rules over intercity routes however the intracity routes are quiet bad and arriva only was 5 Sevieces an 1hr while in the city all follow the same route
