Out of the Transdev liveries I would be most interested in the old Burnley & Pendle livery some of these along with the K-DAO and M-TBV B10Ms used to wear. Is there by any chance an Arriva spec with Voith transmission?

@@bigdikboiCJ Voith in a B10BLE - yes that is a thing, I have been on one. There were also Voith gearboxes in some Volvo Olympians, B7RLEs, B10Ms, and B10Ls. Voith in a Scania - yes there are some older Scania buses that had 11 litre engines that used Voith gearboxes, they had the chassis model number N113DRB and there are a few around in preservation but not very many. Voith in a Leyland - I don't know if there was for sure or not but, I believe there was some Leyland Olympians that had Voith, if on Cummins engined or Gardner I don't exactly know but there were Voith in the early Volvo Olympians so there might be in some of the last of the Leylands. I do know for sure there were ZF in some Cummins Leyland Olympians so I guess it is possible. Voith in AEG - They make appliances so no Voith there. Assuming you meant AEC I have no Idea about those, most leaft service before I was born but if there wasn't any Voith gearboxes in any original AEC products, there could possibly have been some retrofitted to the Routemaster fleets since loads were retrofitted with different engines and gearboxes over time. I have been told over the years they have had original AEC engines, Leyland engines, Iveco engines, Scania engines and Cummins engines, if not more. Perhaps someone has put a Voith gearbox in one. There was a video I found which claimed to show one with a Voith gearbox but after showing it to a mechanic they said it was actually an Allison gearbox.

Great knowledge there Emily, though I have a feeling you may have been wasting your time. I can confirm there is at least one Voith Olympian with a Cummins engine still in existence, with a Palatine 1 body which is preserved 😄 Ex Yorkshire Rider 5158 I believe

yorkshire counties doesn't even work without the 4GB patch for me LOL. Everything loads out and back in when I turn my head in any bus even the C400R, so I think its likely just a map thing and not a Renown thing 😅

Yep! I remember them Daryl, not quite sure if I liked them but I sure remember the Yorkshire B10BLE’s... Saying that a Voith B10BLE doesn’t exist because there’s none in existence is a bit silly... that’s like me saying First West Yorkshire never had B10BLE’s (despite me owning one) because there aren’t any around today, or that Northern Rail never had Class 142’s 🤷🏻‍♂️

The buses like that. Usually wouldn’t allow you to open the door without applying the handbrake but some of the Volvos would let you set of and the doors would auto close as you pull away. Not by the handbook but it used to speed the job up a couple of seconds a stop which translated into minutes at the end. The Volvos in general was one of the best type of buses the new electric ones enviro or something where the worst. The electric busses the breaks where awful the speed was awful the steaming wheel transferred everything into the steering wheel. And all first busses the ignition switch was the light switch so you’d have to have all the lights on in order to start it.
