Bohdan Kmelnetskiy church is where he was buried and three skeletons were found remember Bohdans first wife died in 1645 or 1646 his oldest son Tymish also died in battle in 1652 from a musket ball smashing his knee and gangrene sets in . With Tymish skeleton one leg was amputated or left smashed by that musket ball so the three bodies is of Bohdan, his first wife and Tymish .

@@tanyareva3434 Hello Tanya thanking you for replying with modern archeology all what's needed is to drill to the three coffins that are under that church . The Kmelnetsky family had a colourful history Tymish had twin boys with that lady from Moldova and was accepted into the family clan . The Kmelnetsky family were still around during the 1900s because of the twins, so there must be other family members.

@@PomahXomehko As far as I know, there were attempts to drill the floor, but not very successfully. Your interpretation of the history of the Khmelnytskyi family is very interesting!

@@tanyareva3434 Mykola Hohol requested too see the Treaty of Perezlav 1654 this was when Mykola was teaching history and wanted to write the history of Zaporozhian Cossacks and the reply from the Moscow archives saying no such document existed. The actual account that there were two copies one in Baturyn which was burned down and the other at the Zaporozhian Sich that was ransacked in 1775 . So the Russians do have a copy but is kept under wraps that's a shame .
