Omusheshe by Spice Diana and Ray G. A great song and a great idea. I like the lines "....muhara wa Kintu aine ebintu", ".....nampa rukundo atekire amaju". Given the Banyankole's women arrogance, this act of "akuteka amaju" by Baganda women usually melts the Banyankole men's hearts. The song brings together the two great cultures of Ankole and Buganda. I admire the ingenuity of our young musicians. I wish it could be extended to other spheres of our lives. I first saw Ray G perform at Radio West's Kinihiro show last year. He told the audience "nituza kugamba orunyankole paka omukasheshe!" I wonder how the young man mastered the Runyankole language and culture. The young man is a great performer and can rely sing live with a melodieos voice. As he was singing, I felt my knees letting me down. I wonder how the ladies felt. Ray G has been dominating the Western region, I hope this colab puts him on national level.
