One of the reasons I watch you guys is you actually understand that the games are designed to make arcades a profit and that they can only exist by doing it that way. When you play and it doesn't feel worth it you react appropriately instead of ranting about the games being a scam or whatever. It makes me uncomfortable when people do this for a hobby but don't understand the concept of gambling.

Depends on the arcade. Went to the best arcade in Burnham on Sea recently and won 3x small licensed plush (Bluey, Disney and Wednesday) in the pushers for £2.

Really unlucky with the pound going in, I was in Skegness a few weeks back but thankfully the machine wouldn't take it! (and my hands stunk after pushing as much coins in trying to get the Gizmo plush; gave up after about £15 in; even after other people came to play that one as well whilst I went away to get more coins)

Yeah Bluey is a cartoon for kids. I don't watch it (obviously) but I watch this one couple whose got 2 little boys under 6 and they watch Bluey. That family also goes to Disney World and stuff a lot which is cool. They're lucky they live in Florida and can afford to go as much as they do. I love The heat there and Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot.

The coin pushers that are at our fair in my city has a button so you can stop it from moving which is way better and the arms move to put the coins in so it's a better shot at winning

legally they have to have all the key for the prizes to be winnable. we have a UK Gambling Commission that goes around and does unnotified checks on all arcades, betting shops and casino's. they will even check slot machines in pubs, to make sure they are not rigged. as the laws applies to all gambling of money.

Doing a quick bit of research, the cards you got aren't worth a lot. Both Alolan Golem and Dipplin are worth between $1-2; Helipotile and the Dark Basic Energy are worth well under $1.

If a ppkemon has golden boarder its a japanese card or possibly a hyper rare golden card. I only know this as i collect tcg pokemon cards. And golem is not from gen 1. Its from gen 4 or above of the top of my head

You rapid fire too much, our 2p machines will stack at least 2 high as I saw it do here. I’ve cleaned many a machine out in a day and one by one laying flat every time is key to winning. Also one coin each side each time works best. Slow and steady wins the race.

But where's the entertainment? Most people don't *really* play arcades because they want the prizes. The fun comes from the play, especially for things like 2p machines. Depending on the machine in the UK, a few pounds can give hours of entertainment.
