I must say as a guy who's 6 years into flutemaking (irish flutes) I have yet to see a bigger name to rise among the creators, I sense a great future for your studio and workshop! I follow most best known flutemakers and both your videos and your website are most impressive. Great video, really good playing and beautiful flutes, well done. I can completely hear my own story, it is very difficult to start making flute, you're pretty much on your own browsing forums and trying to find whatever knowledge and techniques you can grab on the internet. Clarinet making was a great source of inspiration for me, there are a lot of things that can be used. Please post more videos ! really cool.

Thanks for sharing this! Both your playing and craftsmanship are impressive and inspiring! I've been playing amateur Irish music for the past five years or so and recently started working on fifes and whistles of my own. I'm just getting started with a very small assortment of tools in a tiny shop and I'm having a similar initial experience: there isn't a definitive guide on how to build wooden flutes and whistles. So far it's been nothing but experimentation with huge failures and some modest successes. If you're willing to share some resources or even chat directly about details, I have a ton of questions and would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions for places to discuss the craft.
