Looks good man, I still need to replace the Kings thing I flooded in the front box of the camper. Might start looking at actually mounting something this time too!

Thanks Mitch ✌️I’ve had this little single for years now and can’t fault it. I will eventually go a dual if it dies
@stevendouglas65933 жыл бұрын
I think the single compressor is fine. It might take a bit longer to inflate your tyres but you could spend the extra 5 minutes enjoying your surroundings. Isn't that why you're out there.

Great set up mate. Best thing I did was mounting a compressor in the car 👌

Thanks Benny, I think I’m eventually going to have to go to a dual compressor

@@HappyGoTravel i had the twin compressor in my 200 that I sold last year (to buy a Patrol of all things) and it was the bomb. Im devastated I cant get one now without butchering the rear cargo bay. Unlike most people we actually use the rear seats and can't afford to not have them. Would you say the single is ok for factory size tyres or +1? Cheers. Nigel
@HappyGoTravel3 жыл бұрын
@@nd9667 oh yeah it’s definitely ok for 33 ish tyres. You will notice it’s slow going from a twin. Did you get a Ti-l patrol?
@nd96673 жыл бұрын
@@HappyGoTravel yes. The minister for finance insisted. Sahara 200 so had to be Ti-L Patrol. Madness, but the only way she would agree.

N D haha my wife was exactly the same , just ordered TI-L I don’t see the extra $12,000 but hey , she’s the boss 😂

Takes about three minutes to pump up your tire from 15psi where say a double kings takes about half that time. You’ll be waiting a long time before that will break down. Unlike kings double and half the weight ARB compressors can take quite a flogging

I did cheap out years ago with a kings, it didn’t work out too well for me 🤣🤣🤣

Just completed this install myself. Did you end up getting a double compressor? Is yours still running? I have to get an extension as the standard ARB hose is only 6m. Such a helpful install video thank you again.

I know this is an old video mate but why didn’t you use the arb wiring harness ?
@HappyGoTravel11 ай бұрын
Mainly because there is too much wire. I always cut and clean up these style of harnesses. I use a portion of it. I had a fuse block installed on top of the battery for a heap of different other accessories. It’s just a cleaner way to wire.
@Chris-sf2cp11 ай бұрын
@@HappyGoTravel makes sense, what size wire did you use?

@@Chris-sf2cp the same diameter as arb supplied I think it’s around 6bns
