Well I mean there have been a ton of pointers in the games and anime suggesting animals exist

@@Why-Do-You-Care. natural selection would have killed all the normal animals (or atleast they are heavily rare) but i think those normal fishes we saw in the anime were just because the people making it didnt know how to make the pokemon anime at the time later in the show we dont see any normal animals
