Some compressor companies advertise the variable angle throttle valve as an efficiency increasing mechanism. From this lecture I understand that VFD is enough to get the best efficiency without the other 2. Thanks very much!

Thank you very much for listening to our Lecture Tuesday presentation. Indeed, the throttle valve is a cheap mechanism to control capacity, but it is not efficient.
