Great to have you back, and I hope all worked itself out in the best way possible. Not more than 3 days ago, I went to see if I'd missed an update.

Glad you are back! My health has also sucked for the past 6 months, presuming that's why you were not able to finish this up yet. I dragged myself over the finish line on the duplex I was remodeling last year, it was rough.

Thank you. I have been trying to get back on the proverbial horse. It’s still a tough sell. I’m sure you are well aware of that from your own experience. Hopefully soon I’ll able to wrap it up.

I was just thinking about you the other day and SURPRISE SURPRISE!! here you are. I hope all is well with you. You better get that heater in, cold weather is coming heck it may get down to 70 where you are at. 😂😂 Oh nvm lol it's a water heater. Well I reckon hot baths help too for the cold.

52 outside but a decent amount of humidity, so it’s not bad. Inside it’s 68 and almost no humidity so my teeth are chattering!

isn't 3 40 amp Breakers really hungry?? here in Phoenix we able to get gas 80% of the time, that way we got space for future outdoor kitchen or something
@RehabLife Жыл бұрын
That it is, 27 KWh to be exact. However in reality it’s pretty efficient using only about 2 kWh per shower. I’ve measured the energy usage of these units several times. It’s almost always a better option. But unfortunately, while gas is even more efficient, we don’t have gas available except by using storage tanks.
@RehabLife Жыл бұрын
Oh and in the next video I upgrade the meter base to current codes and there are additional breakers available for other devices, such as that outdoor kitchen.

Why not use a continual run of eight gauge wire also these need 40 amp breakers.
@RehabLife Жыл бұрын
Correct, 3-40A breakers to be precise. In hindsight considering that it is only a 30” whip, that would have been much easier. In fact, I’ll be sure to do that on my next installation of one of these water heaters! I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. Thanks for the great advice!
