On Saturday, November 13, 2021, Project Humanities hosted Dr. Bernice A. King , daughter of civil rights leader and CEO of the Martin Luther King Center for Nonviolent Social Change, in Atlanta, GA. King, a global thought leader, advocate, orator, and will join Project Humanities Founding Director and Foundation Professor of English , Dr. Neal A. Lester, in a conversation of this theme: “Looking Back to Move Forward: Are We Losing Our Humanity?'' Dr. King’s extensive background through her Nonviolence365 principles in schools, media, and politics and her leadership in "Better Together: Racial Reconciliation" provides an invaluable perspective regarding reflections upon the past, present, and future of humanity.
This free virtual event was from 2:00 - 4:00 PM (MST/AZ) and was the culmination of a year - long 10th anniversary events and activities showcasing Project Humanities' partners, volunteers, sponsors, investors, and supporters.
