I reached financial independence a year ago, and left the workforce. I just love my new life. I have not missed the rat race for one second. I love the outdoors and I continue to learn and grow. A simple life and time freedom is pure joy.

Great for you man, however i dont think you really need to be financially independent, as long as you are cutting expensenses on living and only buying things u need. U can still have like 20-25 hours a week in a job u enjoy and live life.

We are financially well off. I still work 7 days a week and go the gym. My coworkers ask me why do I still work? Sitting at home watching KZbin videos on my phone in bed while unemployed is not exactly the lifestyle you see portrayed on KZbin of financial independence. But that’s honestly what most people do on there days off or in there spare time. So that’s why I still work
