Let us pay our most humble salutes to Gandhi ji on his 150th birth anniversary. The 'Gandhi' whom I am referring here is the one who died in 1948 - not the modern 'Gandhi' who keeps promoting some slogans, activities, places, etc, attempting to take us to some 'top' overnight. He, who died in 1948 brought to us some definite methods (political, economic, societal, and their integrations; all together 'Gandhism' - to effectively shape our lives); the methods based on his application of the 'basic truths' of life - the first 'truth' being that "people are different at all levels", second, that "violence of any form can never settle inherent differences between people at any level - individual, societal, racial, religional, national, etc". Obviously, he named his autobiography as "My experiments with truth'. Not only Godse, but many others had killed him in 1948 - many more have tried thereafter, and many are still trying. Soon, he may 'get promoted' from 'father of the Nation' to 'grandfather of the Nation', if not more. BUT, nothing to worry: "Such a one never dies. He lives, he wakes. Death dies, not he" (Algernon Swinburne).
