Hi! You must be a good person! Your friends come with bucket track loader / equipment hauler to carry your finds home so you can fix them! If you need a cheater, a piece of pipe is safer than the wrench. Less likely to slip off and bust the nuckles!

Didn't clean the gas tank before welding it & didn't clean the engine just wiped the heavy grime off & let the water drain . Didn't change the engine oil

I find it amazing how fast vegation grows in high rain fall areas. You park a piece of equipment, in a few days in look like it has been there for years. If you drain the cooling system before you loosen the head bolts, you won't have water in all the wrong places. I don't see any reason to pull that head in the first place. All you did was remove the water.
