I loved the old beer garden opposite Tesco with its live music some 10 years ago and I also remember the simple Isan small street restaurants with beer and fried fish. Those days will never come back.

@@kjensen7819 I can only recommend the hotel. Very nice staff, modern rooms and a great location: direct access to a shopping center with a supermarket, restaurants and numerous shops. You walk out of the hotel and you are right at the BTS station. A huge supermarket opposite; another just a few minutes walk away. Numerous local food options around the hotel. Also massage shops nearby. It is not a tourist area but for locals and expats. I really loved it!

On Nut is very quiet when considering pubs and entertainment. However, the road noise continues all night with motorbikes w/out mufflers and ambulances.

Well the small beergarden you show in the beginning is already closed already I see last week. What a waste all have to go for I guess another high rise condominium. Thanks for the video, it always good to see On Nut. My most favorite area since 2013 when i was there for the first time! And i keep coming back all the time!

Nice walk around On Nut area Jeroen 👍 🎥 I went to Easy Burger in the afternoon... Now I'll go back at night and visit Cheap Charlie's across the best smashed burgers in Bangkok.

I loved the beer garden that was in that location 5-6 years ago. Then they built the new condo. I never warmed up to this beer garden. It is a totally different atmosphere. (not gritty enough). I now go to Kamla and Cheap Charlies fairly regularly. Yes, everyone should go to Best Beef.

I have a condo right next to Best Beef and go there every so often, it isn’t as busy as it was a couple of years ago so it is a good time to go there. Great place to live, not to far from Asoke but far enough.

Crazy I went there during 2018 or 2019 (can't remember). Can't wait to be back in Apr. Update: Just went to the Beer Garden last 2 Fridays. Food is still awesome as ever. However, I can clearly see the impact of COVID as there are lesser foreigners / tourists around. I believe it would be busy again soon due to the reopening of borders. Really happy that I get to see and feel On Nut again after 3 years.
