Yeah. She didnt have a phone to record that conversation. She had to borrow an old phone from Joe. She said it was her word against theirs because she didn't have evidence..then poof there's her phone with the recorded conversation. That part throws the whole story.

She didn’t take her purse/phone with her when she escaped from the burning car so she couldn’t record them talking. As far as I’m not noticing that she wasn’t still in the car, it burnt and may have exploded as burning cars sometimes do.
