I've been watching your reviews & shorts over the last few weeks & really like them. It's good to see how you set up the scenes with just two main lights. Tell me do you do a lot of light metering for your scenes? Also I'm really impressed with that Rayzr 7 light of your's.

Thanks for the support man I don't use light meters but I always make sure my iPhone is charged to see what light temperature the room/daylight is giving me 'light spectrum pro' app

Thank you for this. It was very informative, and the voiceover/photo style worked a treat. I know how it is trying to film BTS on shoots. - Julian

How do you manually focus at 1.2??? The shots look incredible. I've tried the focus peaking but I'm never sure so I go auto. Would love it if you had advice or a preview of your technique. Your lighting is amazing. Thanks again for your vids.

I definitely need peaking on, with these cameras its best to use the evf to pin point focus. The monitor is good but for more accurate focus I like the evf. I usually like my peaking on yellow as I find its a bit easier for me to see.

Daniel Peters Did you use the evf on the c300 or a different monitor? I have seen different peaking set ups, I think haha. The Canon throws me off because I don't get the haloing effect signifying the area is in focus when half my background is speckled with yellow dots also. The magnification on the cameras are not like the 5D's punch in, plus it's only centered. Either way, your focus is on point and amazing.

yes used evf on canon while client checked monitor to see if he liked my shots haha

how you think the Aputure 120D compare to the razor?
@danieljohnpeters7 жыл бұрын
I haven't used it yet but hopefully soon, the Razors have more kick and more versatile with temp but the 120d looks great for portability

Seeing the setup and result was very informative, thank you. Also, the background music was very unobtrusive, which meant it wasn't distracting from your verbal content.
