Big fan of the channel, but my only issue is when you go too the camera in the stands the sound of the cars are not great, I listen to most of the videos with my ear buds and there is only sound in the right ear bud but as soon as you go too the camera in the in field i can hear on both ear buds. Hope you guys see this the tape on the deck seams are killing you. It is creating to much down force causing you to have handeling isues getting in the corner it is alos creating a VACUME under the deck caus ing it to feel like you are pulling a house down the straightaway. Creating major drag. Just take the tape off.

The Bristol dirt races bring back memories of the first time they put dirt down at the famed track. I worked for the catering company in the suites at the time as a floor supervisor. It was so fun to watch the World of Outlaw cars there and seeing Sammy Swindell winning that first attempt of putting dirt on the track. You could actually see what appeared to be a dirt tornado above the top of the stands. Bristol will always hold great memories for me from the time my father took me to my first NASCAR race there in the late 60's and early 70's. I was there for Dale Sr's first ever win as well as Rusty Wallace's first. I had to live through a number of the Darrell Waltrip wins also. Meeting a number of the drivers pre and post race is a thrill I will never forget.

Watching Joey and listening to the throttle in hot laps, qualifying and racing. Joey, no need to jerk left to set up for the turns at Bristol. You are way off the gas in the turns and still running too low. You should be wide open most of the way around like the big guys are. Stop driving Bristol like it is a local short track, cause it's not. You have the motor, but you gotta keep your momentum up. Just trying to help! Love HTF!! Hey HTF... May want to watch practice at the entrance to turn 1 / 3 and it might be helpful to break the corner into 3 sections....Entrance, Center / Rotate, Exit. Sometimes breaking down helps. Just keep at it.

You need a couple extra air filters, so you have a clean one for each race. You are losing horsepower with dirt on your air filter.

I know it might seem easier said than done, but hard as it may be it needs to be done. Joseph NEEDS to relax! Out there sawing at the wheel like Jesse used to do. Maybe even switch up the steering ratio a bit. The car looks herky jerky and unsettled. All those super fast boys look smooth and controlled. Time for some meditation or something. Just remember, if you make a mistake, you have a spare car in the trailer! RELAX! BREATHE! ENJOY YOURSELF! You have a fast car! Let it go fast and you just gently guide it to the front! Those cars are staggered, cambered and weighted to turn left which is magnified by the length and speed of the straights. I’d guess the correction is trying to keep the car straight. Also bc of the banking the cars don’t load up on the right rear the same so the cars don’t rotate well. Did you see an in car of other drivers that looks different than Joseph? I wonder how long till novelty of Bristol wears out? Nobody in the stands and many other tracks offer much more competitive racing.

@@Brian-vd4mg I would love to see an in car of some of the top 10 guys. As far as the setup is concerned, it’s all relative to the track. They have the ability to reduce rear steer if they feel it necessary (which I would certainly consider). Sometimes you just have to relax and let the car come to you. Eliminate any unnecessary movement and smooth your line out. I’m sure he’ll do better next weekend if he clears his mind and relaxes a bit. He’s a damn good driver, but this track is new to him, and I’m sure he’s a bit nervous as fast as it is. He certainly needs to relax. You can’t win em all, so just relax and enjoy it!

Spot on! Throttle push to the moon. They changed shocks to stop a body rub when the reality was they should have moved the body and left the RF soft enough to keep the bite on entry.

You guys are doing well out there, especially on a medium track. Just some observations- maybe left front should be upgraded inline with the upgrade you did to the right front; get 2 front tyres working together to create more turn in & stability. A taller rear gear might take some wheel spin away on exits and add to top speed; use the cubes you have... just my thoughts from sittin on my arse in front of a computer. I know you guys will find the key to that place on a slick final track. Keep up the good work guys.

Great job driving Joseph in making both shows one top 10 and glad that you were smart to pull off and save the car and motor for the next weekend, and I don’t try and tell y’all how to run your race team like I’ve seen other’s try and do. But I would say that y’all really could use a crew chief or someone who is well treverused in setups, because I’ve seen both of you struggle with setting up the car from track to track and to run upfront you are going to have to be close on your setup. I know that y’all/Joseph said that you tried something in your b-main but it didn’t work.?? I agree, and was thinking the same thing before I seen the comment. Definitely need someone in charge of the setup's and devotes all their time on that. Where's a Karl Kinser when you need one? These guys do a good job and have come a long ways though.

While I agree a having a pro chief would be ideal, y'all got to remember that the ones worth having need to get paid for doing it, so that'd be yet another mouth for HTF to feed.
