Southbound Baby! Heading down in a few days for my 2nd trip to Southeast Game Exchange in Greenville SC. Just thought it would be fun to throw out a little video of what I am hunting for in between all of the Hijinx. How many do you think I will come away with?

Thank you Jenn. It’s absolutely not going to be the same without you guys this year. Last year being almost all of our first convention at the same time really made it a special experience I think. I am looking forward to having some fun and to seeing everyone else though. Wish you guys could have made it again and hopefully all of us can get together again somewhere some time soon.

Last year was my first gaming convention and it was a blast! I highly recommend getting to one if you can. Not sure exactly where your located in the country but a few of the guys in the RC have been talking about trying to get to one at the same time. I am looking forward to adding a few more to the subsets for sure. It’s been. A fun way to work toward the full sets. 🍻🤙🏻

They both are a lot of fun. It’s funny because I have 2 now but don’t have the first game but when I had my original 64 it was flipped. 🤣 Definitely one I plan to come home with. Probably doubtful that Atlas would make a new one in the series but it would be super fun if they did. 🤙🏻

The Contra artwork is such a great memorable piece in the Gameroom. Really makes me think of last year. Great gift from the Nerds! I am stoked to get down and do this again and make some new memories. I have heard a lot of good things about Cowboy Kid but haven’t played it yet. PS2 era lightgun games were the peak of lightgun games IMO. No crosshair, manual reload, no automatic firing weapons. The best! 😁👍

SEGE was the greatest weekend in memory last year. Cool about your gameplan going in, definitely respect a good gameplan. Friday night, have a drink for me, it’s my bday , it’s part of why I’m not going down with other things in my mind and I stopped VGM for a few months in exchange for getting some titles I’m a little more interested in picking up and it’s in my control. Collecting for subsets should get interesting. Hope you can spring a great deal if they have the games at one table to take some extra $$$ off the price. I know the folks at double jump from the state of Washington are supposed to be there and they generally have some cool stuff in stock and I’ve seen other KZbinrs make deals with them too.

I totally agree man. It was such an amazing and memorable weekend last year. I know that this year will be fun but I am sure it could never top that one. I've only been to one gaming convention too, the retro game con in Syracuse, New York. Certainly the biggest thing I've ever seen though it might pale in comparison to SEGE. Do you have any intentions to come up to the retro games con in October? Last year there was quite a turnout with KZbinrs like John Riggs, Metal, Jesus Rocks and Mystic. Always love the content and delivery of your videos

Retro Games Con sounds like a fun time. I have been to some smaller comic cons but SEGE is the only Game con I have been too so far. I will put that one on my list.
