Still using Catia v5 in 2024 for CAD... that's a blast from the past...Still an interesting process. Still a long way to go with 3d printing Ti. All progress though 👍

One thing for sure. That Catia will work in 2055 as well. Don't cry when Autodesk pull the rug under you and lock "your files" in their cloud.

Maybe they gave you some restrictions, but it’s a pity we didn’t see up close : the CAD part screen, the engraving in the substrate plate, the way it was clamped, the wire feeding nor fusion process, the finished product, the building screen of the scanned model, the washing of the part, the screen of the inspection process (how a good part and a bad part look), … Actually it was a very limited overview of the process without any technical detail. Who were your target audience?

Titanium investment casting + CNC machining can be much more energy efficient than printing.
