Max Richter is my favorite, modern classically trained composer and pianist. The Nature of Daylight is the most melancholy piece I have heard and it is quite lovely. Thank you for playing this for us today! Your music brings such peace to others!

As a 28 years Kid being depressed since i remember and also being suicidal life is a daylie struggle but i still hold on. I quess if i could fight 14 years this battle im not ment to give up. This is just a wonderful peace. And you playing it so flawless. Modern Classic is a speaking Ghost trying to help surivie.

Hi, I know what you mean, I have been where you are now, I am 29 and I suffered from depression for more than 3 years, I was able to get out of it because of a realisation that life is beautiful but it gets meaning from you and only you can make life happen, you only get one try at it. Think of your desires and spend your life to fulfill those desires. There is no other side to it, fight hard and be firm. The world may not matter one day, but you will always matter. Have a great life. Dream to live and live your dream. Be strong always. Edit: I came back to this piece completely forgetting that I have heard this before or that I have even commented here. I did not want to delete this message since I have made a more painful realisation in the past few months about my depression because my sentiments are still the same. The truth is now I am 31 and I realised that I have been depressed for the past 16 years and there have been only 4-5 brief moments in that time that I have felt better. But I am still here, still hoping that one day things will be better. I still dream to live and maybe I'll live my dream as well. Be strong always.

This bitter earth Well, what a fruit it bears What good is love Mmh, that no one shares? And if my life is like the dust Ooh, that hides the glow of a rose What good am I? Heaven only knows Oh, this bitter earth Yes, can it be so cold? Today you're young Too soon you're old But while a voice Within me cries I'm sure someone May answer my call And this bitter earth, ooh May not, oh be so bitter after all

Sometimes when I feel like I'm on the edge and I can't even cry I listen to 'On the Nature of Daylight'. The original pulls out from my soul everything that poisons me, it frees pain, darkness, emptyness, holplessness and desperation. I cry. But this version gives me a different feeling, it's more about calm, relief, healing, like a new breath after all these tears. Thank you.

Joy, sorrow, memories, forgiveness, serenity. This peace is the embodiment of human capability to encourage peace and harmony between its peoples. And you, Jacob are living testament to talent and emotion in music. A truly unique and beautiful arrangement. Music is the answer...
