Cried a lot too, yesterday. Tony has been a punk rock hero since my teenage years, I grew up on his music and awesome songs... always enjoyed going to a NUFAN show. I never spoke to him, but he seemed like a really nice, down to earth guy. It's weird, a punk rock scene without him :'(. You always think: hey, hope NUFAN will play here again this year. Now this will never be :(. R.I.P. Tony, you will be missed a lot.

On the outside has always been one of my favorite NUFAN/Sly songs. It's so unbelievably connecting and just.. amazing when I play my acoustic with the song, it's like you're playing alongside him. speakers blaring and just letting go, like jamming with a friend you've known for years.

I'm so sad about his passing, I've only been to 2 NUFAN shows and now I regret I haven't been able to go to more. I'll never forget that memorable night in the Melkweg when their support act was Far From Finished. What a great evening that was! Think tonight I'll have a beer and toast it to Tony, as I've been doing this past week.

Same here, still sad. Made a donation yesterday to the Tony Sly Memorial Fund, which felt very right, bu the whole situation still feels extremely wrong :'(. When was this Melkweg gig? I recorded five NUFAN and two SCORPIOS shows in the last couple of years; playlists are on my KZbin channel page.
