Wonderful! Thanks so much brother in Christ. We all need this prayer for the end times
@Mishakol12902 жыл бұрын
Its always the End Times, ever since Jesus was incarnated, and also, our own death is the "End Time" as well. Its not like, there is this Universal End Time that somehow is just coming on us. Like, people have been saying that for decades and decades. "The end is here" blah blah blah. But oh, it is, always the End, everyday we get closer to death.

I think that I'm a lost cause in my attitude and attempts to understand and love this kind of life. I get angry rant and then listen to this and feel remorse and shame..guilt for being suh so back and forth on living this life.. I'm tired.. I feel this meaningless life of mine will never have inner peace nor understanding. I'm alone in this understanding and don't want to think about it anymore..but I'm stuck in it. All of it..the good and bad and I hate myself for being me..this life... I hate who I am..and those humans behind aspect of what I've experienced and what they know and also judge me.. God will see. That I just don't want to feel anymore.. my loss for simply being me .. what shit

@@DS-mz1gt You should just try to realize the vanity of all things and get to the uncreated, reality and that your own mind is just projecting a fairy tale that isn't true and the powers that be want to feed on our emotions of idealizing light and darkness, good and bad. It's irrational fiction. Jesus with the cross means a dying to all things but even the cross can turn into a fanciful delerium to our non spiritual brains. Look into apophatic theology and read St Maximus the Confessor in Vol 2 of the Philokalia. The world to me is a silly MTV television show that does really help in any way at all. The ego is greed itself and the world as we know it is the same way. It's not been a bad idea for me to always call in God's name or some of the saints but I do realize greed and ego is still here in all of it. This whole wanting to stay alive in this present time, wanting things to be how we want them, etc. Fasting from food works good. Read the 4 Gospels. Hope this helps.

Dont you think its important to use Jesus real name whatever it was? Isus or Yeshua?
@Mishakol12909 ай бұрын
Iesus Christos is the Greek translation. It sounds more authentic. My parish priest told me it's about a relationship not just the words. You can hear holy elders saying it in Greek on here. You can say Lord have mercy in Greek as well. Kyrie Eleison. Sometimes mental prayer works better. Jesus said use not empty repetition too. Its hard to figure out how not to do that. Take care.

@@Mishakol1290 Thanks, much is made of the name of Jesus, "whatever you ask for in my name" etc it would seem important to get it right. A basic thing really to use someone's correct name with correct pronunciation. Isn't the power in his name? Don't deamond flee when they hear his name? How good will a relationship be if we constantly mis pronounce the name of a friend!

@@retribution999 אדון ישוע המשיח, בן אלוהים חיים, רחם עלי, חוטא Here's the whole prayer in Hebrew, Jesus' name being ישוע. In Aramaic, his native toung, it's īšōʕ. If you can read/pronounce those, go for it, if not Isus works for both Greek and latin. She answered your inquiry very well, I think you should read her response again. It's less about the pronunciation of a name than the invoming of that figure in your heart-mind-soul. If a child's Father is named Yeshu, but his son calls him "a-ba", or if your best friend's name is Timothy but you call him "tim", or even give him a nickname and call him "ty", in either case the one who loves you will know what you mean and not be offended, because the bond of Love is stronger than language.
